It packed a powerful punch, and I felt better about putting the all-natural formula on my skin than the chemical alternative. Para’Kito is made with essential oils and lasted about 3 hours before needing reapplication when I used it on a hot, humid, sweaty hike. The roll-on gel was easy to apply and worked great for repelling mosquitoes and gnats, but it won’t solve the tick problem. Nonetheless, it’s worth having — especially for extra protection on target areas like your ankles. $20.
