SUP St. Louis and Alpine Shop are now offering paddling events and instruction at River’s Edge Park in Chesterfield, Missouri. This allows outdoor enthusiasts to rent stand-up paddleboards (SUP) on the 38.5-acre lake and take part in activities like SUP yoga and pilates, sunset and full moon floats, certification classes, and more.

SUP St. Louis is owned and operated by Stacey Drake, who purchased the business from founder Shane Perrin in 2022. Drake is a certified Paddle Fit Core instructor and provides a full range of services for those seeking rentals, lessons, guide services, and family friendly outings. SUP St. Louis does not have a physical location, but more information can be found online at supstlouis.com.

Alpine Shop has long offered a series of sport-specific programs that educate, entertain, and inspire all levels of experience. Its paddling sessions include Dryland Basics, Wednesday Night Sunset Paddles, and Essentials of Kayak Touring, as well as private lessons. Learn more at alpineshopevents.com.

River’s Edge Lake features a boat dock attached to a park shelter and contains “copious amounts” of fish for recreational anglers. The park also has a 2-mile crushed limestone walking path that encircles the lake and branches off to two boardwalks and a mulched trail. The 188-acre property is located near the heart of Chesterfield Valley but is tucked away from the retail area just south of the Missouri River.
