GO! St. Louis is bringing runners together for a spooktacular fall night with GO! After Dark Haunted Group Run, a free Halloween-inspired social run on Monday, Sept. 21 at 4 Hands Brewing Co. at The District in Chesterfield (17081 N Outer 40 Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005).

Participants will have the option to choose 1-, 2- or 4-mile routes on nearby trails, then return to 4 Hands for a free pumpkin or stout beer (21+ runners only), ghost stories, sweet treats, raffle prizes, and the first public look at this year’s Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race finisher medal.

Designed as a community run rather than a race, GO! After Dark Haunted Group Run gives runners of different paces and experience levels an opportunity to share a few miles without a clock, bib, or finish time. Participants are encouraged to bring lights or lanterns for the evening route and stay afterward for the Halloween-themed festivities.

“The St. Louis running community thrives on unique experiences that give us a reason to log miles together,” said Mona Vespa, President of GO! St. Louis. “The GO! After Dark Haunted Group Run gives us a chance to add some fun to our fall training schedules, with an evening built around running, community, and the fun of Halloween.”

Attendance is free with preregistration preferred (gostlouis.org/afterdark), and free onsite parking is available at The District. Dogs are also welcome to join the evening, and runners are encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit with costumes or festive running gear. More spooky surprises await — follow GO! GO! After Dark Haunted Group Run will also offer a preview of The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race, returning Oct. 24–25 at Kircher Park in Eureka, Missouri. Attendees that night will be among the first to see the 2026 finisher medal and will have access to a special onsite registration price for Halloween Race weekend.

One of St. Louis’ longstanding fall running traditions, the Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race welcomes runners of a wide range of ages and abilities with a half marathon, 10K, 5K, 1-mile fun run, and Great PUPkin Run. The weekend also includes costumes, post-race treats, 4 Hands beer for participants 21 and older, a costume contest, and Trick-or-Treat Village.
