Locally based non-profit Yoga Buzz has announced that it will host the first Gateway to Well-Being Festival: Community Options for Better Self-Care along the riverfront this September. This festival is intended to provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with local, vetted and trained professionals in alternative health, non-traditional fitness and other self-care fields from throughout the Greater St. Louis community.

This free event will take place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on September 3, 2016, on Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. along the newly renovated riverfront at the base of the Gateway Arch grounds.

Attendees will be able to participate in yoga and massage demonstrations, enjoy tasty bites from food trucks and support many unique small businesses. “This festival hopes to expand the notion of ‘self care’ by incorporating not just massage, yoga and nutrition but by branching out to music, art and community organizations,” said festival organizer Halley Moore. “The goal is to empower St. Louisans to lead happier, healthier lives.”
