The Gateway Outdoor Expo will return to the St. Charles Convention Center on February 13-14, 2027, bringing more than 5,000 outdoor enthusiasts together with approximately 150 exhibit booths for the region’s premier outdoor recreation show.
Now in its eighth year, the two-day event will feature outdoor gear and equipment, hands-on activities, educational presentations, and opportunities to connect with regional outdoor organizations, clubs, retailers, and recreation providers.
The 2027 Expo marks a shift to a winter date, positioning the event as a kickoff to the Midwest’s warm-weather outdoor recreation season.
“We’re excited to bring the Gateway Outdoor Expo back in February and give people a reason to start thinking about their next outdoor adventure,” said Brad Kovach, event director. “I love that the Expo brings the region’s outdoor community together under one roof, whether you’re looking for new gear, discovering a new activity, planning your next trip, or just want to catch up with old friends — and make new ones.”
