St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Tri My Best, hosted at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), is an adaptive triathlon for children with movement disabilities. Athletes train throughout the year and complete versions of the swim, cycle, and run tailored to their individual mobility level. Tri My Best is designed to give the athlete a reason to train and stay active throughout the year by promoting physical fitness and endurance outside of the hospital walls, all while providing an experience they wouldn’t otherwise have.
