We’re proud to announce that Terrain Magazine is producing its first race in cooperation with Inov-8 footwear.
Scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014, Rockin’ Rockwoods is a free, self-supported ultra run at Rockwoods Reservation in St. Louis County. Mileage is 50K (out and back) or 15M (one way). The route will start on Green Rock trail and go from there. We will provide info on parking, course markings, transportation to get folks back to the trailhead and so forth as soon as we have them.
There will be water and food drop-off points at a few places along the course, but be sure to bring your hydration pack or handheld. This is a “fat ass” event—look it up if you don’t know what it means—so “no fees, no aid, no awards, no wimps” is the order of the day. We plan to have post-run beer and food, but, as this is a grassroots event, we’re counting on everyone to pitch in and make it epic.
