The Millstadt Police Department will be holding our 9th Annual “D.A.R.E. to Run for BackStoppers” 5K, 10K, & 1/2 mile kids fun run at the Village of Millstadt Park on Saturday, Novemer 2nd, starting at 9:00 a.m. The event will benefit BackStoppers and the police department’s local youth programs. We had a GREAT turnout last year from the greater St. Louis area. We will have long-sleeve performance t-shirts, custom awards, plus a free bounce house for the kids & free food. All kids who participate in the fun run will receive a participation medal. Our event also features a 1st Responder Division (top 3 active police officers, firefighters or EMT) & Clydesdale Division (overall winner). Top 3 male & female finishers of both the 5K & 10K receive plaques. The top three finishers in each age division receive medals. Age groups for male & female: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 – 69, 70 & Up. A “Virtual Runner” option is available for those who do not care to participate or are unable to, but still want to support the cause. All entries will be eligible to win a free HD television!
