Big River Running Company, a locally owned specialty retailer with three locations in St. Louis, announces its new charitable giving program – Big River Gives Back. As part of the Big River Gives Back program, Big River will donate 10% of sales of all Big River branded merchandise to charities in St. Louis. The first charity partner will be St. Vincent Home for Children in North County.
“When Big River Running opened in 2006, it was founded of the principle of community engagement,” said Matt Helbig, founder and co-owner of Big River Running. “We’ve reinvested in our community in many different ways over the year, but we are excited to further evolve our charitable giving through Big River Gives Back, really wanting to make an impact and support the great work that so many organizations are doing in our community.”
In the spirit of the holidays and to kick off the Big River Gives Back program, Big River Running presented the Executive Director and Development Director of St. Vincent with 30 pair of shoes and socks for the teens in St. Vincent’s residential treatment program – LifeFOCUS.
Big River apparel can be purchased in-store at any of the three Big River locations or online – https://shop.bigriverrunning.com/collections/big-river-logo-merchandise.
