St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Tri My Best, hosted at Washington University, is an adaptive triathlon for children with movement disabilities. Athletes train throughout the year and complete versions of the swim, cycle and run tailored to each athlete’s mobility level. Tri My Best is designed to give the athlete a reason to train and stay active throughout the year by promoting physical fitness and endurance outside of the hospital walls and providing an experience they wouldn’t otherwise have.
