Ozark foothills 50k
The 50K distance has a total elevation gain of 3800ft with challenging terrain ranging from steep grade to rolling hills, rocks, roots and creek crossings that will make for a fairly technical loop course.

The 50K start time is 7:40 a.m. Cut-off time for the first loop will be enforced at 11:40 a.m., or four hours from the start time. During the second loop of the 50K distance, runners must pass the last aid station (approx. five miles from the finish) prior to 3 p.m., or seven and a half hours from the start time. Final cut-off time is nine hours. All cut-off times will be strictly enforced. Runners must be checked OUT of the aid station BEFORE the cut-off time.
There will be three aid stations, one at the start/finish and the other two approximately five miles apart on the course. Each aid station will be supplied with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, first aid and enthusiastic volunteers! Restrooms will be available at the start/finish.
We are proud to be a USA Track & Field (USATF) Association Championship race, and all USTAF members participating in this event will receive (in addition to the Ozark Foothills medals) separate USATF Association Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the following age groups: 19-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, etc.
Ozark Foothills is also part of the 50K Mashup series of ultra races held throughout the Midwest. Those who register for and complete five of the six 50K Mashup races in a calendar year will receive a belt buckle, along with the chance to win awards given out to the top three male and top three female finishers based on their cumulative finish times for all the races.
