Race Details

Location: West Tyson County Park 131 N. Outer Rd East, Eureka, Missouri 63025 from I- 270, take I-44 west for 7 miles to the Lewis Road exit. At the Lewis Road exit, make a right turn (north). The park entrance is on your right immediately after the exit. Start area is the near the entry gate to the park.

Course: The 50K run is two out-and-backs on the popular Chubb trail. The trail itself varies from a gravel service road, to a mostly dirt trail along the Meramec river, to a mile-long series of climbs, to finally a rolling trail that winds through the hills of the Meramec River. There are no stream crossings. If the Meramec River is well above flood stage then the race will be rerouted. There are two railroad crossings and extreme caution must be taken because the trains come through this area at a high rate of speed. Runners may see deer, turkey and other wildlife throughout this trail run.

All entrants will receive a tee-shirt or other cool schwag. Medals for the 50K & 25K. Age group awards 18-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Refunds – None

Waitlist – we do not run a wait list for this event. We overbook up front just like an airline does knowing that there will be runners that will be unable to make it for various reasons. Bib Transfers: Bib Transfers are not allowed. If for some reason you are unable to run no one else can run with your bib #. We have already overbooked the race so your bib # is really not keeping someone else from running.

Additional Details –

Toilets: There will be a portable toilet at the turnaround, middle aid station and a county park restroom with showers at the Start / Finish

Aid Stations: Aid stations will be approximately every 4 miles. Runners will be provided with an adequate supply of Tailwind, water, pretzels, bananas, potato chips, cookies and boiled potato’s.

Weather: Race day conditions are: average high temperature is 65 F and average low temperature is 45 F, extremes are 93F and 26F.

This is two exits east of the race location exit (approximately 7 miles). There are several restaurants at this exit: Cracker Barrel, Denny’s White Castle, Sonic and McDonalds.
