Commitment Day is a family friendly 5K run/walk on New Year’s Day that takes place in nearly 50 cities nationwide and St. Louis is one of them!  This is one event that is really for the entire family:  children 12 and younger can register at no charge with a paid adult, the start time is conveniently mid-morning allowing you to sleep in a bit, strollers are welcome, and there are even quality shirts for all paid participants.  For the serious athlete, this is the perfect “first race” of the year, too!
