Bike MS: Gateway Getaway Ride is more than a ride. It’s an experience grounded in camaraderie and marked by passion, inspiration, determination and pure enjoyment. It will be an experience you’ll never forget, shared with new friends and old.

Join us at the Lewis and Clark Community College for a full weekend festival. Whether you choose a hotel, onsite camping, Bike MS lodge/gym, or bring your RV, the energy will come alive! Approximately 40 tents will stand side-by-side in our Team Tent Village, where teams unite for the weekend. The 75- and 100-mile cyclists will have a view of the mighty Mississippi as they travel down the historic Great River Road. The 25- mile and 40-mile routes will have a memorable experience as well as they travel through the welcoming towns of Illinois.

We’re known for themed rest stops, hospitality, camaraderie and special touches. The spirit of our volunteers allows for an exceptional experience for all of our cyclists. Rest stops on both days are fully stocked with water, Gatorade, protein snacks, fruit and other special treats from our amazing volunteers and rest stop captains.
