The Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series Marathon Weekend, November 5-7, offers great races, great courses and first class amenities. Our Expo will showcase over 50 Vendors. The Bass Pro Conservation Marathon, a Boston qualifier, is an excellent race for marathon veterans or first-time competitors looking for a great course and first class amenities. Runners and walkers from Missouri and the around the world will participate in the Bass Pro Conservation Marathon Weekend. The Cohick Half-Marathon is flat, fast and well supported. Both the full and half marathoners will run past Mother’s Brewery, an added opportunity, close to mile five. Conservation Marathon Relay runners will split the marathon distance into 10K, 5K, 10K, 5K and 12K legs. The relay exchange points are fun places for participants to wait for their leg of the race. The Conservation Marathon, Cohick Half-Marathon and Conservation Marathon Relay all start at 7 AM. This weekend is daylight savings time so runners need to remember to set their clocks back an hour. The News-Leader 5K starts at 7:15 AM and takes place in the neighborhoods around Bass Pro Shops. The 5K has quite a few turns but is still a great course for a PR. All races take place on Sunday, November 7th.
