Help Trailnet fulfill its mission by riding in this fall classic. The Appleknocker Gran Fondo is a challenging, timed ride through the pastoral hills and dales of rural Calhoun County, Ill.; a throwback in time nestled between the great Mississippi and Illinois rivers. Challenge yourself to one of three routes: the 120 mile Gala, the 60 mile Red Delicious or the 30 mile Granny Smith. Registration includes: A one-of-a-kind exclusive t-shirt, fully stocked rest stops each with its own theme, printed and digital maps, expert SAG support and Trailnet Pink marked routes. There are prizes for each finisher and special prizes for each category winner.

There are three routes, each with it’s own starting time. Don’t be late!

• 7:00 am — the 120 mile Gala
• 7:15 am — the 60 mile Red Delicious
• 7:30 am — the 30 mile Granny Smith

We have secured exclusive lodging at Pere Marquette Park in our own private group camp. Reserve your spot in registration.

The post-ride party includes a carb-rich, nutritious and hearty meal, all the craft beer you can legally consume and some rockin’ music. This is all part of your registration package.

Be sure to bring the family. During the Fondo, Big Shark is hosting the second cyclocross race of their Bubba Series  at the Appleknocker Start/Finish . Cyclocross racing is super fun event and a great spectator sport. The closed course is a short loop with obstacles that require  genuine bike handling skills.
