We are proud to announce The Animal Protective Association as our Charity Partner for the 2019 Macklind Mile.  The Animal Protective Association of Missouri is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people and pets together, advancing humane education and creating programs beneficial to the human/animal bond. Dogs have always been a huge part of the Macklind Mile, and we welcome the APA.  Big River Race Management will donate a portion of the race proceeds to the APA.  If you’d like to join us, make a donation during registration as all donations go directly to the APA.  If you are looking to adopt an animal we encourage you to look for the dogs in yellow vests on race morning.  These dogs are looking for a good home, and we hope to further the APA’s mission of bringing humans and animals together!
