A retired couple from Carlyle Lake circumnavigate the eastern United States in their 26’ sailboat. Come hear about Tom and Tracey’s grand adventure around America’s Great Loop.
Did you know that the eastern half of the United States is an island? Tom and Tracy Grass are a retired local couple from Creve Coeur, Missouri that set off in June 2016 to travel the Great Loop in their 26 foot sailboat. Come hear Tom and Tracy talk about boating over 5,600 miles through 20 states, the Bahamas and one province of Canada. Along the way, they saw beautiful beaches, sailed past the Statue of Liberty, traveled the historic Erie Canal and Great Lakes, motored their boat through downtown Chicago, and on down the Inland Rivers of America’s Heartland to and through Kentucky Lake, on their way to the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. This event is open to the public with advanced registration. There is no specific cost to attend, however we will be accepting donations online (see registration link) or at the door. Click HERE TO REGISTER or contact davidcrosby@charter.net for more information.
Registration is limited to 90 people.
