With its great tradition as a rite of spring, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run normally welcomes over 5,000 runners on a 5-mile course through downtown St. Louis. Our commemorative t-shirt has been a classic for runners and walkers in our region as are the finisher’s medals.

As we know, 2020 brought its own set of challenges resulting from the pandemic so we were not able to hold our event in person and it was necessary to pivot at the last minute to a virtual run. We’re pivoting again this year but the tradition will go on!

Therefore, the 43rd Michelob Ultra St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run will include an in-person run on Saturday, March 13th, 2021 beginning at 8:00 a.m. along with a virtual run.

The Live Run

Local officials have authorized a live (in-person) run in Forest Park for the morning of March 13th. The event currently has a maximum capacity of 500, so if you wish to participate in the live run, please register as soon as possible by clicking the “Register Now” button below. Please note that the run start will be staggered to achieve social distancing. We hope that conditions will allow us to increase the number of runners able to participate in-person. If we are able to do so, we will communicate that accordingly. In addition, the live event on March 13th will be a 5k (3.1 miles) run instead of the normal 5-mile distance.

The Virtual Run

For those wishing to run the traditional 5 miles, a virtual option is available. Please click on the “Register Now” button below for more details and to participate!

The 43 Mile Challenge

In celebration of our 43rd year, we are also presenting an additional challenge to participate in! Runners will be able to register and compete with others by running an average of 2.25 miles a day from March 13th through March 31st to reach 43 cumulative miles by the deadline. Please click on the “Register Now” button below for more details and to participate!
