Rocks ‘n’ Roots 10K is an old-school barebones trail race held in beautiful Cuivre River State Park on April 24, 2023. This event is a challenging run along the Lone Spring Trail through the Northwoods Wild Area of the park. The Trail race will start and finish in Camp Derricotte. The 10K start will be staggered with waves of 30 runners every 5 minutes starting at 8:30 am in order to allow social distancing and prevent congestion on the trails. Runners will choose their start time during registration. The race is capped at 150 runners.
