Missouri State Championship Mountain Bike race
Saturday May 21, 2022: Short Course Racing. Very similar to criterium racing. A very short lap (6-8 minutes) with a time limit depending on your category + 1 lap. State Championship jerseys will be awarded to the overall winner of each category. You must be a resident of Missouri and have a USA Cycling license to be awarded State Champ.
Sunday May 22, 2022: Cross Country Racing. About 5 miles per lap. State Championship jerseys will be awarded to the overall category racer. Must be a Missouri resident and hold a USA Cycling license to be awarded State Champ.
Both days of racing to be held at the new Shawnee Bend Bluff Trails located at 29001 Golf Rd. Warsaw, Mo.
Awards for top 3 overall in Missouri State Championship in each category one jersey to be awarded per category. Juniors scored separately.
USA cycling points by age bracket will be awarded.
Must be a Missouri resident and a USA Cycling member to be awarded State Championship.
Awards 5 deep by category overall to be awarded for Mountain Madness race. Points by age bracket for UFD.
State Championship T-shirts can ONLY be purchased online at registration.
XC prize money for cat 1 and marathon will be 1/3 of the field awarded 1/2 of the entry fees paid into thier category, men and women. Need 9 riders to pay 3 deep.
Short Course prize money is $50 for the fastest lap, men and women.
