Formerly our Two Mile Fun Run’s purpose was just that – Fun.  In 2021 we combined that goal with a higher purpose.  Since then our Fun Run has been “Mindy’s Run”.  Mindy’s Run is a race honoring the life of a former Zizzer who lost her life to cancer shortly after her high school career.   Proceeds from this portion of our event benefit two important things of Mindy’s family.  The first is the Zizzer Cross Country program, which was a big part of Mindy’s life.  The second is helping a local young person fighting cancer.
