DESCRIPTION:Come and check out the 4th Annual Minnie Ha Ha 6 & 12 hour timed race\, which takes place at the Minnie Ha Ha Park\, located off Old Gravois Road/Highway 270 near Fenton. The paved-loop course is USATF-certified\, and measures 1.17 miles which will be chip timed that winds through the mostly flat wooded park with great views of the Meramec River and fall foliage. The start/finish area is located at Shelter “E.” There is adequate parking throughout the park with a playground and restrooms in close proximity to the shelter. The aid station is adjacent to the start /finish and will be stocked with plenty of fluids and foods you would expect at an ultra event. There will be cool swag for all participants!

Remember\, no paddling experience or special equipment is necessary\, we’ve got you covered! \nThis trip will pass through an amazing natural back channel of the river where wildlife and unique flora abound. After stopping on the sandbar of a river island\, we’ll pass the spot where Lewis and Clark camped on the second night of their epic expedition on May 15th\, 1804\, and continue past a beautiful bluff lined bend. We’ll stop for lunch and a swim on Pelican Island and then make our way to the take-out at Sioux Passage Park. This trip is an excellent way to explore one of our region’s most prized yet unexplored natural gems!

SUMMARY:The Katy 225
DESCRIPTION:The Katy 225 is our BIG sister race to the Cowboy 200. It will be run on the beautiful Katy Trail in Missouri. Like Cowboy\, Katy is a point-to-point rail-trail race with ZERO REPETITION! Although the concepts are similar\, the two will be VERY different races. \nThe scenery is quite different in Missouri than at Cowboy in Nebraska – more trees and much of the trail runs along the Missouri River. We also expect that the race will have a different feel to it. Katy does run through many small towns (much like Cowboy) but starts only about 45 minutes south of Kansas City and finishes in the heart of St. Charles\, a suburb of St. Louis!
