It’s off the outer road on Forestry Road 3107 (also labeled County Road 429 on some maps). As soon as you get on the Forestry road\, the Trail Head is on the right.\nCost*: $35 (6K) run & 1.7 mile walk\, $40 (Half Marathon). Add $5 to each if you register the day of the race at the trailhead. Age groups: Men & Women 18yrs old and under\, 19-35\, 36-50\,51+\n*Cost includes T shirt and medals* for top two runners in each age division for 6K (male & female)\, top male & female half runners and EACH finisher in half marathon. All runners/walkers will get a T shirt\, however to be guaranteed a T shirt ON RACE DAY you must register by April 14th. AND RESPOND TO SHIRT SIZE (MEN’S & WOMEN’S SIZES) on this website. The event starts and finishes at the foot of the Chain of Rocks Bridge on the Illinois side. DESCRIPTION:The Games have begun! On Saturday\, we closed out this year’s Mens and Womens Volleyball Tournaments\, Specialty Events at the Woodland Sports Complex\, Table Tennis\, and Basketball Skills Competitions. Monday’s events went off without a hitch\, and the weather held out for us for Tuesday’s events. Congratulations to all our winners and participants. Isolated rain showers are in store for the St. Charles County area beginning Tuesday\, April 29th\, and lasting through Thursday\, May 1st. However\, we have made the call to proceed with all the Games for Wednesday. Show up to the site\, and the Event Coordinators will provide any instructions on the events. Weather call for Thursday’s Games will be made by noon on Wednesday. Good luck!

SUMMARY:Ozark Mountain Challenge
DESCRIPTION:We have partnered with the Missouri State Parks (Sam A. Baker Park)\, along with 2025 Platinum Sponsor Missouri Highlands Healthcare\, to see who can hike 7\,980’ elevation (The height of Mt. Olympus) right here in the beautiful Ozark region in Missouri. Each participant will have twelve hours to hike nine times up Mudlick Mountain. This vertical ascent is equal to hiking Mount Olympus in the state of Washington. Why did we choose Mt. Olympus as a benchmark? Although in Greek mythology Olympus meant “mountain” or “gathering place of the gods”\, in modern times Olympus represents “a place or state of joy and happiness.” The total hiking distance is approximately 17 miles. Each hiker will be shuttled back down to the base after each successful ascent. The route is Mudlick Mountain Fire Tower Road (available on All Trails app)\, which is a chat road. This challenge is NOT a race. It is the external (physical) YOU versus the internal (mental) YOU. Other participants & race volunteers will be encouraging you along the way.
