Remember\, no paddling experience or special equipment is necessary\, we’ve got you covered! \nThis trip will pass through an amazing natural back channel of the river where wildlife and unique flora abound. After stopping on the sandbar of a river island\, we’ll pass the spot where Lewis and Clark camped on the second night of their epic expedition on May 15th\, 1804\, and continue past a beautiful bluff lined bend. We’ll stop for lunch and a swim on Pelican Island and then make our way to the take-out at Sioux Passage Park. This trip is an excellent way to explore one of our region’s most prized yet unexplored natural gems!

DESCRIPTION:Produced by Terrain Trail Runners\, Dark 2 Dawn is an all-night trail run at Indian Camp Creek in St. Charles County\, offering 10K\, six-hour\, nine-hour timed ultra-options. Each race takes place on a route featuring a combination of open-field crossings and wooded single-track\, consisting mainly of dirt with a bit of rock mixed in. The race registration includes overnight camping\, photos by Marcus Janzow and post-race grab-n-go snack!

DESCRIPTION:The Sunset Hills Triathlon returns on Sunday\, June 25th! Set in the beautifully hilly community of Sunset Hills the race features a course that is a good challenge for new triathletes\, but is also a welcomed challenge by seasoned veterans of the sport. The 300 yard serpentine style swim is in the Watson Trail Park pool. Athletes will then transition to a challenging loop bike course totaling 11.8 miles\, concluding with a 3 mile run through the lovely Watson Trail Park. Our race features; finisher medals\, dri-fit t-shirts\, and results printed on site. Great amenities\, easy transitions\, amazing volunteer support\, and outstanding event production has made this race one of kind for the area.
