SUMMARY:Berryman 50 Mile & Marathon Trail Races
DESCRIPTION:The Berryman Trail is an approximately 26-mile single-track loop through the Mark Twain National Forest. Run two loops for the 50-mile race\, and one loop for the Marathon. The total elevation gain/loss is 2500 ft/2500 ft per loop. The race is run in the clockwise direction. There are plenty of rocks and roots\, and at least two opportunities to get your feet wet before and after the Brazil Creek aid station at mile 16 (and mile 42 on 2nd loop). The course crosses many other stream beds that may or may not have water in them depending on recent rainfall.

The race features significant elevation changes and flows that travel on fast\, hard-packed\, single track through woodlands\, rock gardens\, and creek crossings. Awards are given to the top finishers in each category. Pre-registration is required.

New this year\, each of our trips will feature a different location and route\, highlighting the bounty of adventure throughout the region. \nEvery Pedal / Paddle trip will begin with a bike ride varying in length from 10-20 miles. As you ride\, our river crew will load your paddling gear into our shuttle vans and transport it to the canoe put-in. We will have two guides with bicyclists on the bike trail (a lead rider and a sweeper) and two BMA guides with you in the canoes. \nOur river guides will be waiting for you at the end of your bike ride with a delicious\, pre-prepared and individually packaged lunch. After a break\, you’ll then load into our voyageur canoes\, hop on the river and soak in some glorious RIVERTIME.

DESCRIPTION:The St. Louis Senior Olympics is a Masters-style athletic competition that promotes the life long health and wellness of people over 50 by providing opportunities to participate in competitive sports and social events. Participants must turn 50 by December 31 of the competition year. \nSt. Louis is proud to host one of the most prestigious Senior Games in the country. With the help of 300+ volunteers\, more than 1\,200 athletes are able to participate in more than 90 events over Memorial Day Weekend each year.
