DESCRIPTION:The Watershed Endurance 6Hr/3Hr Run is a timed event to challenge an individual’s physical abilities. The event will consist of a 3-hour and 6-hour timed run taking place on the 1-mile path around the Watershed Nature Center. The route surface is 50% crushed limestone terrain and 50% pavement. Participants can run\, jog\, walk or even take a break in between loops. The event is to see how many miles individuals can complete within the 3 or 6-hour limit. Our expert guides will then take you on an epic 17-mile journey in our extraordinary 29-foot voyageur canoes from Blanchette Landing Park in St. Charles to Sioux Passage Park in Florissant. Remember\, no paddling experience or special equipment is necessary\, we’ve got you covered! \nThis trip will pass through an amazing natural back channel of the river where wildlife and unique flora abound. After stopping on the sandbar of a river island\, we’ll pass the spot where Lewis and Clark camped on the second night of their epic expedition on May 15th\, 1804\, and continue past a beautiful bluff-lined bend. We’ll stop for lunch and a swim on Pelican Island and then make our way to the take-out at Sioux Passage Park. This trip is an excellent way to explore one of our region’s most prized yet unexplored natural gems!

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Columbia and Bolm-Schukraft Park! The first MTC Zilla Tri Sprint Triathlon is a great event for all ages\, 18 and up\, beginners\, and seasoned athletes. The event is hosted by the Metro-Tri Club. Race begins with a serpentine swim\, bike out to the county roads\, and run out along shady city streets and back to Bolm-Schuhkraft Park. \nWe begin with a 300-yard serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis Pool. The 11.2-mile bike course has mostly flat roads with one challenging hill\, and railroad crossing (time not adjusted for stoppage at train track). The bike is non-draft legal. The 5K run course will take you through a neighborhood\, and onto the trail\, and will have plenty of shade. \nTriathlon is USAT-sanctioned. USAT rules require bar ends to be plugged. Drafting rules apply. USAT officials will be on course. \nBe sure to register by July 30 2024 to guarantee a t-shirt. \nOnline Registration ends August 16 at 11:59 pm

Your participation benefits The MO Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation\, a non-profit organization that supports the advancement of bicycle and pedestrian access\, safety\, and education in Missouri. \nThe ride starts and ends at the Isle of Capri Casino and Hotel in Boonville\, Missouri. Boonville is centrally located\, with easy access from all areas of the state. The winery is only minutes from Columbia\, a vibrant city that will provide participants with more lodging\, restaurants\, and entertainment choices for a great weekend trip. \nThe route passes through several historic towns\, including Boonville\, Blackwater\, and Arrow Rock. The road ride consists of 100% paved roads. Riders who prefer\, can join our Katy Trail route. DESCRIPTION:The best professional and amateur cyclists in the US are coming to put on a show over Labor Day Weekend! Four full-tilt races in four of STL’s coolest neighborhoods. \nEach Day features an all-day program of racing that includes amateur races\, and kids races\, that build up to the men’s and women’s professional races. Each race showcases “criterium format” racing on one mile+ laps. This Americanized style of racing appeals to both athletes and spectators alike as the peloton speeds by every few minutes\, holding lines only inches apart from one another. Spectators can watch the race develop lap after lap and hear commentators announce race strategy as the excitement builds. \nThe Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup is proud to be the 10th and final stop of the American Criterium Cup\, the top professional series in the US.
