Runners from all over West Central Missouri and Eastern Kansas participate in this event to help enhance the lives of the veterans who live at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg. \nThis event offers a 5K and 10K run that is USATF certified and uses a professional timing company to document running times. Participants are allowed to walk the race as well and is family-friendly. \nMedals are presented to the top three finishers in each age category for the run by the veterans who live at the home. They love being able to give back to those who are instrumental in making the final chapters of their lives better. \nProceeds from this event go towards programs that improve the quality of life for our veterans. This includes everything from receiving prize money at every bingo game held\, enjoying an ice cold beer or glass of wine at our weekly happy hour\, listening to the sound of live music\, tasting amazing food like steak\, shrimp and lobster and going on outings all over Missouri. \nThis is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who have done so much for our freedom and for our country. DESCRIPTION:Registration is 8:00 am – 9:00 am and riders may begin their ride after they have registered. You can choose to ride 5\,10\, 20\, or 40 miles. Route is a rural\, low traffic\, paved course\, however\, you must always follow the rules of the road as you ride the TdT. SAG wagon and food will be available from 8 am until 1pm. \nYour $25.00 entry includes a t-shirt\, lunch\, snacks and water on the trail\, as well as SAG support. You must register by September 6th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. \nAll rides begin and end at the Tilden Village Park\, where there are restroom facilities. Registration is 8am – 9am. You may start your ride between 8 and 9 after you register that morning. WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR RIDE\, All participants are required to CHECK-IN at the CHECK-IN TABLE at the park\, this helps us to know everyone is safely off the route and we can take signs down and close the park. \nRegistration at the Tilden Village Park on the day of the ride will be $30.00. This year promises to be our biggest and most exciting event yet\, and we want you there to help celebrate as you experience the excitement of running America’s longest Main Street in the historic town of Belleville\, IL\, in the heart of America and just a short drive from downtown St. Louis\, MO! Our anniversary celebration will feature fabulous swag\, including the first 900 registrants will receive a pair of goodr sunglasses as part of their registration!!! And we encourage you to rise to the challenge of 26 (point 2) miles on the 26th\, in ’26 to receive even more swag!!! As you make your way down Main Street on race day\, you will be greeted by enthusiastic volunteers on every corner\, providing incredible support and cheers with the charm of a Midwest town. Both the full and half marathon courses are ideal for runners of all experience levels and include Main Street and other city roads. The full marathon is a USTAF-certified Boston Marathon qualifier that also includes about 10 miles on a paved trail. In addition to bonus anniversary swag\, registrants will receive a soon-to-be your favorite everything T-shirt and finisher’s medal. Post-race celebrations include Belleville’s Bennie’s Pizza Pub pizza\, a special beer brewed just for you by Belleville’s Shoehorn Brewing (for those ages 21 and older)\, and a DJ for a festive atmosphere. The Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon is a non-profit event\, with proceeds reinvested back into our community (community food pantry\, Belleville Parks and Recreation Department\, and a college scholarship fund for Belleville high school students)\, with $20\,000 being donated from 2025 race proceeds. We are a grass-roots event organized by dedicated volunteers from the Belleville Running Club and Toolen’s Running Start.
