DESCRIPTION:All 10K\, 5K\, 1.5 mile Walk and fun4kids participants will receive a Finisher’s Medal. \nMen’s & Women’s Overall and Master’s 10K/5K winners receive a plaque\, a medal and a free registration for the next year’s race. \nMedals also will be awarded for first\, second and third place 10K & 5K event winners in the various age brackets. In 2026\, we’re excited to carry on the legacy of the The Dogwood Run\, welcoming back the spirit and legacy of the parade to the heart of Ladue. \nAfter a scenic\, tree-lined run\, walk or stroll (yes\, strollers are welcome!) around the famous “Ladue Triangle\,” everyone will come together at the Post-Race Festival to kick off summer and give back\, with all race proceeds benefiting the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation!

SUMMARY:University City Memorial Day Run
DESCRIPTION:Packet Pick-Up\n\n\nSunday\, May 24th from Noon to 5:00 pm at the University City Public Library: 6701 Delmar Blvd. University City\, MO 63130 OR during the morning of the race\, May 25th. \n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n7:30 am: 10K begins in front of the U. City Library \n\n\n7:50 am: 5K begins in front of the U. City Library \n\n\n9:15 am: Family Fun Run begins at Princeton and Trinity \n\n\nT-Shirts\n\n\nT-shirts will be guaranteed for runners registered by May 12th. For best chance of receiving first choice of size\, please register before May 12th \n\n\nBibs/shirts will be available morning on the race beginning at 6:30 a.m. \n\n\nT-shirts sizes can be exchanged after the run on Tuesday \n\n\nTiming\n\n\n5K will be officially scored with chip timing by Big River Race Management. \n\n\nFree Swim! \n     Cool off after your race! This year\, your Memorial Day Run bib number is good for one FREE admission to University City’s Heman Park Pool only on race day\, May 25th. At 52-years-old\, the Memorial Day Run is just a youngster compared to University City’s historic WPA-era swimming pool! Opened in 1933\, Heman Park Pool celebrates its 93rd anniversary on May 30th and is now completely renovated after the devastating flood of July 2022. It is one of the area’s largest public pools and was named “Best Pool” in 2023 by the Riverfront Times.
