Upper Limits is partnering with The North Face to celebrate Global Climbing Day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, at the Downtown St. Louis Upper Limits climbing gym at 326 South 21st Street. The public event is open to all ages and will feature free climbing, food trucks, and outdoor yoga and fitness classes throughout the day.

Upper Limits is one of more than 150 climbing facilities around the world to partner with The North Face for the second annual Global Climbing Day.

Housed in a historic railroad facility near Union Station, Upper Limits’ Downtown St. Louis location has 10,000-square-feet of climbing space for novice through advanced climbers. Climbers using auto-belays must weigh at least 30 pounds. All new climbers will receive introductory climbing instruction when they arrive.

Global Climbing Day is part of The North Face’s Walls Are Meant For Climbing campaign, a global movement to bring people together through the power and community of climbing. The North Face will donate one dollar to the Khumbu Climbing Center in Nepal for every person who climbs at Upper Limits and other participating gyms on Global Climbing Day.
