Swim Bike Run, the St. Louis area’s only store that focuses on all three segments of the triathlon—swimming, biking and running—has announced a partnership with Fleet Feet Sports, the St. Louis area’s largest running retailer.
Fleet Feet Town & Country will now operate within Swim Bike Run’s 5,000-square-foot facility. The Fleet Feet Fit Professionals serving Swim Bike Run guests will be offering the best-selling footwear, apparel and accessories from Fleet Feet’s four other St. Louis stores, plus a carefully curated selection of athletic gear designed specifically for the triathlete.
Kristen Waddell, former training director at Fleet Feet and an experienced triathlete, has been named manager of Fleet Feet Town & Country. Waddell will coordinate efforts with James Coudright, manager of Swim Bike Run. Fleet Feet Town & Country will open in late February.
In addition to the retail partnership, Swim Bike Run’s coaching division, directed by Sally Drake and Renee Van Horn, will partner with Fleet Feet’s training division, directed by Brandi Barbre, to bring together all of their specialties and offer a larger selection of programs and classes for St. Louis area runners, swimmers, cyclists and triathletes. Their first collaboration will be a triathlon training program that begins on March 31 and concludes on June 15 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex Spring Triathlon.
Swim Bike Run founder, Sally Drake, and Fleet Feet owners, David and Debby Spetnagel, said they are excited about combining efforts to offer St. Louis endurance athletes an incredible shopping and training experience.
