Race registration fees are not refundable under any circumstance, race registrations are not transferable to a future years event. We will allow bib transfers until March 5, 2017 IF you can find yourself a replacement and contact us with all details prior to the transfer deadline.

This Is a Cup-Free Event
PLEASE NOTE: OZARK FOOTHILLS IS A CUP-FREE RACE, which means there won’t be any paper cups at aid stations, and there won’t be any paper or plastic cups at our finish-lines. We won’t be making any exceptions to this rule, so if you don’t bring your own drinking receptacle come race-weekend, you’ll want to pre-purchase a collapsible cup and if you don’t already have a reusable soft flask to carry with you on the course (for soda & electrolyte drink, etc.), we will have the collapsible cups for purchase when you check in for the race and/or at packet pickup for $5 (quantities limited at check-in).
Please help us keep our races eco-friendly, minimize the trash in the landfills and our trails clean.

4515 Hencken Road, Wildwood, MO 63069 – Start/Finish at Muckerman Shelter.
The Ozark Foothills 50k and 25k are simultaneous trail races that will be held across the scenic and technical trails laying at the foothills of the gently rolling Ozark mountain range.
This is a challenging course of steep grades and rolling terrain. Runners will be treated to 95% single track with rocks, roots and creek crossings that make for a fairly technical 15 mile loop ** Trails included Deer Run, Eagle Valley, Green Rock, Overlook, Beulah, DeClue and Dogwood at Greensfelder Park.
** The Ozark Foothills 50K is two loops and 25k is one loop.
START TIME & TIME LIMIT:
The 50k start time 7:40 AM and 25k start time is 7:30 AM. The cutoffs for both distances is 9 hours. For the 50k runners, a cutoff time for the first loop will be enforced at 11:40AM or 4 Hrs from the start time. During the second loop of the 50k distance, runners must pass the last aid station (approx. 5 miles from the finish) prior to 3PM, or 7 ½ hours from the start time. All cut-off times will be strictly enforced. Runners must be checked OUT of the aid station BEFORE the cut-off time.
There will be 3 Aid Stations, one at the start/finish (Restrooms) and the other two approximately 5 miles apart on the course. Each aid station will be supplied with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, first aid, and enthusiastic volunteers! Restrooms will be available at the start/finish.
Included in your registration fees:
– Each registered runner will receive custom socks along with post race BBQ and beer to Salute! . We cannot guarantee socks or finisher awards to registrations made after March 15 but will work to get you your items post event.
– Race Photo’s by Mile 90 Photography
– All finishers will receive a custom medal and a mug.
– Awards will be given for: First overall male & female. Age Group awards for first male and female finishers with 10 year spreads.
FINISH-LINE BRACELETS (for non-runners & non-volunteers): Anyone eating or drinking needs to have a finish-line bracelet on the day they’re otherwise running/volunteering.
We will have finish-line bracelets for sale at the merch table on race-day ($5 – CASH ONLY) if you didn’t already pre-purchase them via UltraSignup for $5. If you aren’t a registered runner or volunteer, pre-purchasing a bracelet online helps us better plan when we’re purchasing items for the finish-line food and beer. It helps cover our extra food and drink costs for spectators, and in turn helps us keep race costs down.
It also helps ensure that we have food and drinks available for the last finishers and last volunteers back to the finish line.
